Artisanal Linevoile Scarves
R790,00
We have created a new miniseries of scarves, inspired by Rothko. An artist known for his washed colour blocks on canvas. Pieces with a colour use and a deep understanding for falling into voids of colours where words and clear imagery fail to express, but the colours spill out of the painting to wash over us and let us be felt. Not seen or heard, but simply existing.
The scarves come in a variety of soft antique pinks to hues of brown and copper. The colours are created with the sun and hand painted for each client individually. To preserve the art and the colours, even though they do fade a bit overtime, always cold wash and dry in shade.
In your notes, when you purchase the scarf, please indicate your favourite colours. Our process influences the intensity of the colours within our range.
Size: 150 x 60 cmÂ
Fabric: Linevoile ( 60% linen / 40% cotton)Â

How to care for linen garments
Normal machine wash cycle of 40 degrees Celsius.
Tumble dry for 20 min on medium heat.
Alternatively, hang garment out to dry on a washing line.
While linen has a reputation for its creases and wrinkles, we like to look at this as a characteristic rather than a flaw. However, if you prefer a more polished look, you can use a steamer or iron on high heat.
