We love our pure linen fabrics from Spain and Belarus. Because linen moves well with the body, it falls well and it's alive. It's the oldest eco fabric available today and yet, it still has a timeless character.
Linen also has a very high frequency and therefor actually contributes to healing.

Our engineered cuts and styling follows through because we love clothing that breathes with us.

We transcend all trends, all seasons ... less, but better is our motto.

All items purchased from MARUTSCA.COM are manufactured by a small team of seamstresses at the studio in Cape Town, South Africa.

We work with small fabric mills in Spain and Belarus to source our linen fabrics.

So, each time you order from MARUTSCA.COM, you can rest assured that your clothes have been lovingly made in a way that has minimal impact on the environment.

With a passion for living consciously and contributing to a greater cause, Marutsca decided to launch a sustainable capsule collection for men and women.

Working in collaboration with a small production studio owned and managed by Malick Basadien, all MARUTSCA.COM garments are made. Malick has a keen eye for technical detail and fashion logistics.

Having worked for brands such as Dorothy Perkins, Marks & Spencer and Akris, Marutsca (our brand’s namesake) is responsible for masterfully conceptualising and developing all the MARUTSCA.COM designs and products.

With 38 years of experience in the fashion industry, Marutsca enjoys seeking mastery and delivering beautiful and ethically produced clothing.
